Looking for a wine that is not only delicious but also supports a minority-owned winery with a big presence in the wine industry?

If you are looking for a wine that will wow your senses and make you fall in love with Cabernet Sauvignon all over again, look no further than the 2019 Herrera Rebecca Cabernet Sauvignon from Mi Sueño Winery. This wine is a masterpiece of winemaking and a tribute to the daughter of Rolando and Lorena Herrera, the owners, and founders of Mi Sueno.

Rolando Herrera started his career as a dishwasher at Auberge du Soleil and worked his way up to become the director of winemaking at Paul Hobbs Winery. Along the way, he realized his dream (sueño) of creating his label and established Mi Sueno Winery in 1997 with his wife, Lorena. Mi Sueno Winery is a family-owned and operated winery in Napa Valley that produces small-lot wines from some of the finest vineyards in California.

The Herrera wines are a unique collection that highlights Rolando's passion and talent for crafting single-vineyard wines from unique terroirs. Each wine is named after one of his children or grandchildren, reflecting their personality and character. The Rebecca Cabernet Sauvignon is named after his eldest daughter, who is warm, inspiring, gentle, elegant, structured, and exhilarating.

The 2019 vintage of this wine comes from a one-acre Napa vineyard in the cool climate of Coombs Ville. The wine is aged 32 months (about 2 and a half years) in 100% new French oak barrels. This allows for extended hangtime while still preserving the natural acidity.

Mi Sueño’s Rebecca is a wine that is so delicious, you may find yourself wanting to keep it all to yourself. This is the perfect Monday night wine, a wine so good that you won't want to share it, I know I wouldn't.

With its complex aromas and flavors of dark fruit, vanilla, caramel, rose petals, toasted almonds, leather, pomegranate, cocoa, cherry, dark chocolate, and tobacco leaf, Rebecca is truly a wine that you won't forget. It's velvety smooth on the palate, with mouthwatering tannins and a long finish that will have you reaching for another glass.

Whether you're pairing it with a juicy ribeye steak or a sharp aged gouda cheese, this wine is sure to elevate any dining experience. And if you're looking for the perfect gift for a loved one, look no further than the 2019 Rebecca Cabernet Sauvignon.

So go ahead and treat yourself to a bottle of this rare gem, and enjoy it on a cozy Monday night in. But be warned, once you taste this wine, you may not want to share it with anyone else.
